Call for project ideas on Personalised Medicine

In follow-up of the 1st call on Disease Prevention, January 29th, the team herewith opens a 2nd call for project proposals in the domain of Personalised Medicine.


If you have a promising idea in the field of Personalised Medicine and you are looking for partners to get it realised, you are invited to send a short description of your project idea to by March 10th. Project owners will be offered the opportunity to pitch in front of the team on March 21st. Eligible ideas will then be offered the opportunity to present to and discuss with potential partners during an ideation workshop.


Personalised Medicine uses new approaches to better manage patients’ health and targets therapies to achieve the best outcomes in the management of a patient’s disease or predisposition to disease. New possibilities are now emerging bringing together novel approaches, such as whole genome sequencing, data and informatics, and wearable technology. It is the interconnection between these innovations that makes it possible to move to an era of truly personalised care. We aim at projects such as on biomarker discovery and validation, data gathering and analytics (including life style and wearable data), advanced manufacturing techniques, smart logistics for cell therapy,…, the business network bridging technologies for healthcare innovation, is a new Innovation Company Network (IBN), recently set up by, DSP Valley and MedTech Flanders.’s goal is to support companies active in digital and life sciences and medical technologies in the development of collaborative projects in the healthcare domain.
