bionection – Partnering Conference for Technology Transfer in Life Sciences

The two-day international technology transfer event bionection is organised by the biosaxony e. V.  and will be held for the fourth time in a row – this year in Jena (Thuringia). During the conference, researchers and entrepreneurs will present latest inventions in biotechnology and medical technology. Success stories on technology transfer will be shown and contacts between research and business will be established.

The aim behind the annual two-day bionection conference is to showcase transferable projects rooted in research excellence as well as technology offers and requests in order to attract potential business partners. Using a range of interactive formats, opportunities for collaboration in the fields of product-based development and commercialization are highlighted. This partnering event is aimed at researchers, technology transfer experts, innovative growth companies and SMEs.


As a biotech and medical technology congress in central Germany, bionection is distinguished by its varied range of innovative ideas as well as a receptive, open conference environment. The lively, friendly network builds on close cooperation with strong support for science, creativity and entrepreneurship.
