MEDVIA and flanders.bio have joined forces to become Biovia: the new health innovation cluster for Flanders, uniting human and planetary health into one vibrant ecosystem.
Biovia is an industry-driven organization with over 400 members and partners, from companies, research institutes, universities, hospitals, service providers, investors and government.
We bring together all sectors at the crossroads of health innovation – medical biotech, medtech, digital health, agtech and industrial biotech. Because at Biovia, we recognize that all health is connected – people, animals, plants and planet.

Biovia is one of six spearhead clusters supported by Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO), uniquely positioned to foster a sustainable environment for health innovation in the region.
As a unified force for change, we keep an eye on the big picture and build towards long-term strategic goals for our ecosystem. Through strategic initiatives, we help our members solve complex challenges and accelerate progress in key topics such as ATMP and Health Data.
