Human Health

Human Health

Flanders (Belgium) is a global hotspot for health, driving innovation in medical biotech, medtech and digital health. The region brings together biotech pioneers, CROs, CMOs, CDMOs, and clinical trial experts to advance breakthroughs in areas such as oncology, neurology, regenerative medicine, and infectious and autoimmune diseases.

As the cluster for health innovation, Biovia sits at the heart of this dynamic ecosystem, working closely with the Flemish government to connect industry, research institutions, and healthcare providers. Together, we accelerate innovation in personalized medicine, advanced therapies, ATMPs, digital health solutions, and cutting-edge medtech.

Belgium’s strong biopharma and medtech value chain—spanning fundamental research, (pre)clinical trials, and state-of-the-art production—further strengthens this position.
