Business Development Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a high-energy, ambitious Business Developer with a hunter mindset to generate new business and accelerate our growth. You’ll be the face of Trince to new prospects in the pharma, biotech, and academic sectors, identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing startup at the cutting edge of cell therapy and nanobiotech.

Key responsibilities:

• Hunt for new business opportunities and generate leads in target markets.
• Build and nurture relationships with scientists, researchers, and decision-makers.
• Translate complex scientific concepts into compelling value propositions.
• Execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
• Support, in collaboration with the field application scientists, clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
• Represent Trince at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
• Help shape scientific messaging into impactful marketing materials.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree in biosciences, engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in life sciences or lab tech.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• You find prospecting and cold calling energizing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and beyond. Expect 25-50% at peak moments.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• Must be eligible to live and work in Belgium.
• If not on the road, you can join the team in the office on a regular basis.
