Qualified European Patent Attorney

In view of its expansion, De Clercq & Partners is searching for a motivated and proactive European Patent Attorney to join our high-performing patent team.

Location: Sint-Martens-Latem, Leuven or Hasselt

About the job

• Managing a worldwide patent portfolio
• Drafting and reviewing patent applications and prosecution thereof
• Assessing and advising on issues such as freedom to operate, alleged infringement, and IP disputes
• Providing IP due diligence and strategic advice on IP matters
• Handling oppositions, appeals, and litigations

About you

• Fully qualified European Patent Attorney
• MA or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics or Computer Sciences
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills
• Proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize and take initiative
• Able to handle confidential matters discreetly
